One of my creative partners and brothers in Christ, E.Brooks and I took to shooting a quick video for the first track of the new album. Enjoy!
My fam Shannon and I performed this at as part of our recent prison ministry trip on the East Side of Indianapolis. It’s from SOC’s EP entitled, “The Narrow Road: 1st Journey.” We were so grateful for how we heard it encouraged – but we were even more grateful to see how God has impacted the lives of those who were nearing the end of serving their time and had turned their focus on serving Christ in the community.
Tomorrow morning, I’m going to be a part of a prison ministry worship service. This particular service is one where the people are within a couple of years of re-entry back into the public. I’m actually very humbled to have been asked – and this will certainly be a first.
Interestingly, I’ve felt God challenging me to face one of the true fears many believers find themselves facing – full fledged evangelism in the truest Acts 1:8 and Matthew 28 sense. Understandably there won’t be any video allowed; but I can say that I’ll surely pass along reflections and praise reports soon thereafter. Praying for His will to be done!

See those vine and youtube clips with Soul Train videos to some of your favorite records? Well, I thought why not do one to one of the most favorited tracks on the new “Get the Picture” album. So here you have it – “turnt ’round” like you’ve never seen it before, to a hilarious Soul Train line. Enjoy!
The family and I have made a quick stop back in the UK to visit our church family in Liverpool. It’s always amazing to see what God is doing here. Hoylake Chapel has been selected to be one of the premiere launch sites for Pentecost Wirral over the coming weeks, which should be phenomenal. Hoylake’s Pastor, Buddy Owen, was kind enough to invite me to perform this past Sunday and I was grateful to drop the debut performance of “Get the Picture.”
